APS-Four Corners Powerplant

IIG Inspectors assisted in analyzing a coating system failure in a thickener on APS’s Four Corners Power Plant. IIG worked with the infrastructure owner, painting contractor, and paint manufacturer to develop a coating system that would withstand the extreme environment. IIG then performed inspections to ensure the coatings system was being installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
